Smile Dental is a successful, modern dental practice based in Townsville, North Queensland.
Since 2004, we have been sharing our progress with other practices, through the Smile Dental Professional Development Workshops.
New & expanded workshops for 2010
Our first professional development program—Develop the Hygienist, Develop the Practice —was the first and remains the only course of its kind in Australia. The workshop has helped dozens of dental practices to implement and optimise their own hygiene departments. Read what some of our past participants think.
Today, Smile Dental Professional Development offers a number of programs throughout the year at our practice, and personalised consultancy and training in your own practice in your own time. Brush up your knowledge and skills
All workshops are planned and presented by practising dental professionals. And they’re delivered in a purpose-built training facility within an operating dental practice.
Training is collaborative, with attendance limited to 15 participants, enabling ample interaction, over-the-shoulder clinical demonstration, hands-on activities and personal discussion. Warm up your team with a few days in the tropics
Workshops are presented on a Friday and Saturday, with plenty of time out for getting to know your colleagues and making the most of the tropical location.
A Smile Dental Professional Development workshop is the perfect weekend away for your practice. Travel and accommodation packages are also available.
