Business Coordinator Amelia Smith has worked in dentistry since 1999. She is a qualified dental assistant, having completed the Certificate III in Dental Assisting with the Australian Dental Association of Queensland. Amelia joined Smile in 2003. Over the years, she has filled the roles of dental assistant, infection control coordinator, hygiene coordinator and, these days, business coordinator. Amelia is also a trainer in our Dental Hygiene Workshop. Amelia completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting with the Australian Dental Association of Queensland in 2001. She has also attended practice management seminars and completed training with the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies—both in-house and externally. She participates in our quarterly team building and practice management workshops, and attends annual conferences such as the Australian Dental Congress. As part of her continuing care and oral hygiene program, Amelia has regular fluoride treatments and uses GC Tooth Mousse for sensitivity.
